The machines shown on this Web-site have been designed and built at the MAVRIX shop in Wisconsin.  Because of our in-house capabilities we can offer technical assistance to help trouble shoot problems and we can also supply quick delivery of spare parts and consumables from our inventory.

If an equipment problem cannot be solved over the phone, we can offer quick turn-around service on machine components and controls that can be shipped air overnight.   Payment can be made with Visa or MasterCard credit cards.

We do offer service call capabilities for our machines including the older machines made by our predecessor company the Teledyne McKay Automatic Welding Division.  In some cases we are able to repair competitor’s equipment like Stoody or Mattson. Please contact us for further information.

ACCESORY PARTS SALES

Wire Feeders

Wire feeders are available for sale as standalone systems in 4 and 6 roll versions with 1/8 HP or 1/4 HP motor drives.

PA-10 Wire Feeders
A constant speed 90 VDC 1/8 HP high efficiency gear box is standard with four drive rolls. Capable of 70-500 IPM(higher speeds available) with dynamic braking to eliminate wire coasting can handle wire sizes from .045”-5/32”. Forward and reverse control function and adaptable for many mounting options. Can be used with CP or CC weld power supplies and is available with digital readout and contactor cables.

Adjustable Torch Assembly

Our adjustable torch assembly provides 10” inches of total travel and provides an inexpensive way to make quick changes to the torch standoff. Includes spring liner to increase the life and can be built with extensions of various lengths.


Gas Nozzle

The Mavrix gas nozzle shown with the carbide dispensing brackets mounted, provides a straight forward gas shielding capability. When coupled with a Mavrix wire feed and solenoid valve you can achieve safe and integrated gas delivery.

Sub Arc

The Sub Arc hopper assembly includes the hopper with various mounting arrangements, flexible tubing, manual gate valve and angular torch extension. Sold separately or with a Mavrix Automatic Welding System.

Carbide Dispensing

Our carbide dispenser can be purchased separately or included with a welding system. With our custom control you achieve finer resolution of the dispensing rate through the entire range of control.

  • Vibrator control with current sensing to auto start upon weld arc start up
  • Hopper and vibratory track assembly with insulated mounting block
  • Hose and torch nozzle attachment
  • Adjustable torch assembly and gas nozzle shown in photo is not included with the base system.

Water Cooled Torch

The Mavrix water cooled torch is an inexpensive approach to provide cooling to the torch tips and avoid the occasional thread strip during tip change over. Coupled with a Miller Coolmate or similar heat exchange this design provides cooling to extend the life of your torch assembly.

Rotary Grounds

We carry inventory of rotary grounds and frequently integrate them into our machine designs.

Customer Ground Shoe

This ground shoe provides 7.5 square inches of contact area and is spring loaded to maintain contact with your part. Sold separately this shoe is frequently integrated into our machine designs.

SERVICE

STANDARD POLICY ON SERVICE CALLS

Labor

$120 per hour
$130 per hour all over 8-hour day and Saturday
$140 per hour all over 8-hour Saturday, all day Sundays and holidays
Portal to portal, travel time paid during normal working hours.

Expenses

Transportation, Meals, Lodging, and Normal Incidentals.

Terms

A purchase order will be required prior to service.

Requirements for installation and training: All services required must be in place and adequate help and handling available. Operators to be experienced welders and will be trained in the use of the machines. Welding materials to be on hand and work to be on hand and ready for welding. Delays caused by above conditions not being met will be treated as a service call and billed accordingly.
